Rooted in legacy and etched in gold and diamonds, our story is a vision of enduring trust which began in the trade lanes of old Chennai. Our pioneer, Mr, Vadilal Doshi, established Vadilal Diamonds with a singular vision: to source the world’s most exceptional stones. Known for his keen eye and uncompromising integrity, he didn’t just trade in diamonds; he built a reputation that would become the bedrock of our family legacy.
As the mantle passed to the second generation, Kiran Doshi saw the potential to transform raw brilliance into wearable art. Under his leadership, the house expanded beyond diamond trading into the intricate world of Diamond Jewellery. He bridged the gap between the gem and the wearer, establishing a signature style that celebrated traditional Indian craftsmanship.
The third generation saw a pivotal shift. Sanket Doshi moved the heart of the business to Mumbai—the diamond capital of India. Recognizing the changing pulse of the industry, he infused the brand with modern aesthetics and global design sensibilities. Harmonizing the symphony of rich heritage and contemporary elegance to each curated piece, he ensured that the legacy remained unapologetically customer – first.
Today, the legacy is reimagined by Riya Doshi. In 2025, the brand entered in to a new era of brilliance to become Simara. It represents the culmination of a century of expertise, distilled into a brand that looks forward. While our roots remain firmly planted in the ethics of Vadilal Doshi, our eyes are on the horizon.
